Can This Young Man Give ODM Victory In Dandora?

Political arrangement in Dandora Ward 1 seems to favour ODM's candidate for County Rep Benard Mwangi. Mr Mwangi, who sailed through unopposed during ODM nominations, is will face TNA's Peter Wanyoike and Samuel Mbugua of APK in the March 4 general election.

Mr Mbugua decamped to APK after losing to Mr Wanyoike during the TNA nominations. He was among the several aspirants who termed the January 18 TNA nominations a sham process and decided walk out of the party in order to seek election on the tickets of other TNA-friendly parties.

With Mr Mbugua's defection to APK, Mr Mwangi of ODM could pull a surprise victory because his opponents are likely to divide their vote while he is assured of solid ODM vote support.

The candidates contesting to represent Dandora 1 in the County Assembly have promised to transform the ward if elected.
