The just concluded party nominations have produced widespread victory for youthful politicians in Dandora in what is now seen as youth revolution.

In Dandora Ward 2, Stephen Kambi overcome wealthy and experienced aspirants to clinch the TNA County Rep ticket. Mr Kambi was making his first attempt at elective politics. In the same ward, ODM's Richard Obae, a youth, too made it through past his three other opponents.

In Dandora Ward 3, Charles Thuo pulled a big victory for the TNA County Rep ticket, garnering 1145 votes against his closes opponent Clement Ngugi who obtained a paltry 82 votes. Among those who fell victim to Thuo's triumph included wealthy businessman Peter Mwaniki, Virginia Wanja and senior political operative during the David Mwenje era Charity Wangeri. In the same ward, ODM youthful aspirant for County Rep Beatrice Adhiambo trounced experienced and seasoned politicians.

It was the same story in Dandora Ward 4 where youthful aspirants Moses Kimaru and Daniel Oria pulled victory for the TNA and ODM County Rep tickets, respectively.

It was only in Dandora Ward 1 where continuity prevailed in TNA when the outgoing area councillor Peter Wanyoike won the TNA ticket against youthful aspirants Samuel Mbugua, Chrispin Mwangi and George Mbugua. In the ODM camp, youthful Benard Mwangi easily got the County Rep ticket without opposition.
