Will Kambi Disappoint Chege In TNA Nominations?

By on Tuesday, January 15, 2013

Mr Edward Chege
The clock is quickly ticking toward January 17 when TNA and ODM hold their respective party nominations. And even at this moment, no body can accurately tell who is ahead of who in the contest for TNA County Rep ticket in Dandora II. However, Stephen Kambi and Edwrad Chege seem to be the front runners in the contest.

Mr Chege is a youthful University of Nairobi trained-teacher  while Mr Kambi is a flamboyant youthful businessman with interest in real estate. Mr Chege cuts the image of a reserved politician while Mr Kambi is portrayed as a talkative and outgoing person.

In their campaigns, they have both promised to improve security in the ward and also provide jobs for the unemployed youths. This way they rely heavily on the big number of youth voters in the ward and it will be interesting to see who will attract the most youths to his side and eventually pull a victory.

While Mr Chege has portrayed himself as an educated, young leader who is out to bring civilization in grassroots politics, Mr Kambi prides himself as a more accessible homeboy who understands the challenges of his neighbors.

As these aspirants intensify their campaigns, it is only time that will tell who is who at the end  of the day of Thursday January 17.
