Leaders Condemn Dandora Killings

Political leaders in Dandora have strongly condemned the Sunday December 31, 2012 incident in which six gunmen killed three people and injured two others. Embakasi North parliamentary aspirants Raphael Thimba and Allan Maina termed the incidents as very unfortunate and asked the police to move with speed in their investigations to ensure that the culprits are brought to book as soon as possible. 

Others who also voiced their criticism over the killings included County Rep aspirants Richard Obae (ODM) and Edward Chege (TNA). The politicians also conveyed their deep condolences to the affected families.


The shooting took place on the night of December 30 in Dandora 3. It was reported that the gunmen targeted Mr Victor Kyanguli, a shop owner, whom they shot dead before escaping with money of unknown value. The other victims were shot at as the gunmen were escaping.
These killings resulted to street protests by the people of Dandora.
