After a running battle and an exchange of fire, two suspected thugs are dead in Mowlem. The police killed them after a chase that began in Kayole.
Police said the two suspected criminals were involved in a robbery in Kayole and tried to escape to Dandora through Mowlem, but their desperate mission was cut short. Police had not provided identities of the suspects by the time of publishing this story. But police said they had recovered three guns, more than a dozen rounds of ammunition and a carton of cigarettes from the suspects.
Mowlem is a ward in Embakasi West and its MCA is Martin Kinyanjui. Administratively Mowlem is part of Dandora division, Njiru District.
